Saying “I do” in Bali is such a memorable event that many brides & grooms dream about it. Wonderland Uluwatu is one of our top picks for venues that we recommend for your special day. From The Point, The Joglo and The Pool, each of their venues is designed to make your special day one of the most beautiful days of your lives before you begin your journey as husband & wife together. Here are some tips Bali For Two can suggest for celebrating your wedding at Wonderland Uluwatu:
1. Make use of all venues The Point and The Joglo are our most favorite spots for the ceremony, so if you decided to hire all three venues, you can use either The Point or The Joglo for your cocktail hours, photo booth corner, or also photo gallery. The Pool is the main reception venue, but if you feel that this venue is too big for your party, remember we can always place more food stalls, sweet corners, registration tables and also a dance floor! You can check out images of the venue here.
2. Find your nearby accommodation
Traffic in Bali can be unpredictable at most times so try to keep yours and your guests accommodation as close as possible to Wonderland Uluwatu so you can save the stress from traveling (we can help recommend some accommodation nearby as well!). You can check some recommendations here as well.
3. Compare the value of your catering provider
One of the top reasons to book Wonderland Uluwatu for your wedding is it;s venue exclusivity and flexibility! Remember that you can choose your own catering provider and the venue rental fee you pay to Wonderland Uluwatu already covers the entrance fees for your vendors, including caterers. Compare the value and also do food tasting with different catering providers that will meet your needs. Some catering providers also offer complimentary corkage fees in case you bring your own alcohol. We can help recommend some trusted catering providers as well for your event.
4. Plan the rundown!
Wedding and its timing are very crucial. You don’t want to roast your guests outside and at the same time you don’t want to miss the golden sunset hour. Try not to start your wedding before 4PM, this also gives more time for your vendors to set up for the event at Wonderland Uluwatu. A 4.30 PM or 5 PM ceremony time is ideal, and in the morning you can do plenty of activities like taking photos with your groomsmen and bridesmaids. Remember that preparation also takes a long time and you want to take as many beautiful photos as possible!
5. Choose the right month
Remember that for an outside wedding you need to pick up a dry season. We recommend May to October as the ideal months to have a dry season wedding outdoors. But if you choose to have your wedding in a risky wet season, we can help you hire a marquee rental or you can also use Wonderland Uluwatu’s bar space which is under a safari tent and provides shelter from rain.
Most importantly, do a budget check before securing your vendors. We can also give you free cost estimation for your wedding plans at Wonderland Uluwatu.
